Biography

Séverine Besson is president and founder of ACT4 TALENTS, a mission-driven company dedicated to the development, capture and sustainable transmission of key soft skills and know-how within companies.

With a doctorate in management science (Paris Dauphine University), she also holds an Executive MBA (emlyon business school) and certifications in emotional intelligence, action learning and artificial intelligence (Harvard).

She began her career in the international chemical industry, managing subsidiaries and networks in 47 countries and leading an R&D SME—an experience that shaped her vision of transformation, innovation, and the transmission of critical knowledge. A recipient of the Réseau Entreprendre and Économie au Féminin awards, and a board member of a listed company and Edtech Lyon, she has also chaired and served on the boards of several professional networks (APM, CPME, Cluster Chimie, CESER, etc.). A Knight of the National Order of Merit, she is recognized for her commitment to the economic and international development of businesses.

Today, it supports businesses and public actors, using a hybrid approach: action research, field experimentation, operational support and digital tools such as micro-learning and cognitive AI.

Séverine is the author of "Voyage en apprenance" (2025), creator of the "Entreprise apprenante" label, and regularly speaks at large-scale public events: Tech Show Paris, Réseau Entreprendre, CCI, Education Technologies, etc., and private events: Michelin, France Travail, Vinci Energies, etc.
